According to the report received by RAHANA News Agencies of Iran; the authorities of the Special Court for Clergy have threatened Ayatollah Boroujerdi to exile to a far and deserted place where any kind of communication is not possible.
This happening is because of Ayatollah Boroujerdi’s two letters which written in Evin prison and disseminated out of the prison. In this letter Ayatollah Boroujerdi has criticized the current situation of the country and asked for “the separation of religion from politics”. Based on the report of RAHANA; the authorities of the Special Court for Clergy have said nothing about the probable exile place of this imprisonment clergy.
It is necessary to say that Boroujerdi had addressed the leaders of this government in a statement on June 20, 2010 in this manner: I want to ask you, the leaders of governmental religion; how you can justify your interference in the internal affairs of other countries under various excuses and reasons, whereas you don’t permit any independent voice to be heard in your own country! An Iranian inside his homeland is not allowed to follow any thoughts and ideas that are independent of government and has no independence and freedom of choice in his private thoughts even in his votes. All aspects of his life are surrounded with red lines by those who are greedy for power and if he asks liberal world and human rights activists to help, he will be accused of spying.
In addition, he had expressed some definite criticisms in the statement which released on Internet sites under this title “the combination of republicanism and Islam” on June 27, 2010 as follow:
Today, Iran is under the severest discriminations, oppressions and crimes. When religion and politics be combined, opportunities for deceit, ruse and crime will be appeared and this verse of holy Quran which says: (“و یخرجون الناس من دین الله افواجا” (means the people leave Allah’s religion in crowds) will become certain.
