Mr. Kazemeini-Boroujerdi cautions his family about visiting him

As a part of the continued and ever increasing psychological pressures on Mr. Hossein Kazemeini-Boroujerdi, on Saturday, April 12th when the Kazemeini-Boroujerdi family appeared at Evin prison for a visit, agents of the regime subjected them to harsh physical searches, and verbally abused and insulted them.
Given the ongoing abuse and vicious behavior, in an act of protest against the regime’s agents, Mr. Boroujerdi announced that he will no longer put his family through the indignity and that he will cease to visit with his family.
Following this epidose, Mr. Kazemeini-Boroujerdi, who has also been deprived of receiving any medical care or medication, fainted while bathing and was transferred by fellow prison mates to the Evin infirmary where, once again, he was not treated, and was moved back to his cell.

It is important to mention that Mr. Boroujerdi is a freedom-seeking cleric who is pro-Secularism and has been imprisoned for eight years and is suffering from various illnesses that are ever worsening as a result of the regime’s refusal to provide him with any medical treatment while in prison.

Human Rights activists for Democracy in Iran, condemn these actions by the regime’s agents and call upon the United Nations and various international human rights organizations to address the continued human and civil rights violations of the people of Iran at the hand of the regime of the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
