Iran as
an ancient country with a great civilization, has been the land of Monotheism
and religions during the history. During thousands years of the Iranian history,
the clergy associations were always promoted and attained important social
positions due to beliefs of the people, so the clerics had always an important
role in the society. They were sometimes accompanied with the people and
sometimes represented a part of power for supporting the rulers.
At the
threshold of the entrance of Islam to Iran during the 7th century,
the Zoroastrian clerics who knew themselves as the interceders between the
people and the Lord, had achieved huge power in the society. However, after
overcoming of Muslims, the new class of Islamic clerics formed in Iran based on
Sunni sect who were acting primarily as supporters of the Islamic Caliphates
and consequently as prayers for the Muslim kingdoms.
After
storming of Mongols on Iran and western Asia during 13th century which
was accompanied with massacre of people, destruction of country and collapse of
Islamic Caliphate, the Sunni based clerics partially lost their power.
Therefore the followers of other sects and religions attained more religious
freedom. Two decades later, while the
The
“Safavid” dynasty was founded in Iran, the Shiite class of clerics formed and
promoted. Since the Safavids were interested to develop Shiite sect, the
clerics made close relations with the rulers and even entered inside the
imperial court. During this era, the clerics succeeded again to improve their
social power and to influence strongly on government after about a thousand
years.
Authoritarian Clerics
After collapse of Safavid kingdom during 18th century, the Shiite clergy
became abandoned and the clerics just could save their popular position in the
society. However, groups of the clerics were desired to return to the power and
even to enter within the ruling organizations and to dominate the government, hence
they used to interfere in political affairs.
The events of the Iranian Constitutional Revolution in the 19th century
during which the clerics had an important role to fight against the autocracy
of the King, was an example of such political interventions.
Since then, many Authoritarian clerics were trying to enhance their social
and financial power through traditional methods such as increasing the number
of their followers and receiving a variety of religious payments such as
charities and also joining the staff team of bigger mosques or holy shrines.
This situation was actually a danger for religiousness and Monotheism in
Iran since many of the people forgot the Lord, but instead they were gathering
around some particular clerics. So these deceived people were actually ready to
do everything against the government and even against the national interests
based on some religious orders (Fatwa or Islamic decretals) from the grand
clerics. The riots led by clerics against the modernity especially in the case
of equality and voting rights for Iranian women or Civil disobedience and
backlash against the social changes
such as unveiling of women were actually some examples showing their
power.
Secular-Minded
Clerics
In the
second half of 18th century, a new movement was born for reviving Monotheism
and separation of religion from politics. This movement was founded by a
Monotheist man named Seyed Hossein A’araji Kazemeini, in Baghdad, the previous
capital of Sassanid Empire where at that time was under ruling of the Ottoman Empire.
The movement was in fact based on worshipping the God and denial of worldliness
in addition to a scientific campaign against tyrannical rulers especially
religious Dictators.
The movement was continued by his grandson, Seyed Abolghasem Kazemeini during
next decades. However, due to his anti-tyrannical views, Seyed Abolghasem was
pursued by the Ottoman Empire who knew himself as the inheritor and successor
of the Islamic Caliphate. As a result, Seyed Abolghasem left his hometown and
immigrated to the city of Boroujerd in Iran. His efforts for reviving the pure
Monotheism was followed up by his son, Seyed Tahir Kazemeini Boroujerdi during
next decades. Nevertheless, Seyed Tahir and his fathers could not reveal many
of their beliefs about the Lord and Monotheism to avoid ideological conflicts
with Authoritarian clerics.
Grand Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Ali Kazemeini Boroujerdi
Seyed
Mohammad Ali Kazemeini Boroujerdi was born in 1930 in the city of Boroujerdi located
in south west of Iran. He completed the preliminary education in his father’s
school and thereafter he travelled to Najaf city in Iraq to continue his
scientific and religious studies. After returning to Iran, he established a
great scientific institute called “the Academy of Light” (or “Noor Academy” in
Persian), to follow up and update the movement of his father and ancestors for
Monotheism based on the modern sciences. Unlike the other
clerics who were meanwhile busy to find more followers or to publish Catechism
books or collection of religious payments and so on for increasing their social
power and influence, Mr. Seyed Mohammad Ali denied to do same, but instead
innovated new scientific and research methods to promote Monotheism and to
prevent misleading of people. His tribune was just Noor Mosque located in
Khorasan Square, south of Tehran. The mosque was constructed by his own cost
and also by financial assistance of some local benefactors during 1950’s.
In that
time, the Authoritarian clerics were secretly plotting against the government
by abusing the devout people. Their behaviors were basically discrediting the
Monotheism and the divine values inherited from thousand years ago in this
land. They considered the religion and monotheism as a tool and puppet to reach
their unholy goals. They could obtain global support by communication and
negotiations with secret international assemblies with the assistance of the
some philosophers who were promising utopia to the people.
Their
main goal was to acquire the power in Iran as a holy land with enormous human
and natural resources and one of the main centers for Monotheism in the Middle
East to abuse it as a base to attain their satanic desires. The first step in
this satanic plot was to invent an Imam, so they were determined to follow up.
Since Ayatollah
Seyed Mohammad Ali Kazemeini Boroujerdi foreseen the serious danger for the
entire monotheism, began to publish hundreds of papers and books with the
subject of gnosis and the knowledge of the Imams and religions as well as Godly
devotion through his institute, “Academy of Light” with the support of some
benefactors. By distributing those books and papers freely inside the country
and by holding preaches and scientific debates with advocators of religious
government and autocracy in the Noor Mosque, he was actually trying to notify
the people that the invented Imam and the human-made or cleric-made religion is
worthless. He also was warning that the ruling of clerics and the Shiite
Caliphate is basically opposed to the concepts of monotheism. Actually Mr.
Seyed Mohammad Ali was like a pain in the necks of authoritarian clerics who
were plotting to provoke the people against the government and to establish
the religious state.
Due to his
extensive research and studies, eremitic life style, modest behaviors and also
his plenty published books and papers, he was considered as the most well-known
face in scientific and religious debates. So his publications was reviewed and
discussed by many contemporary Islamic scientists. For example, Dr. Ali Shariti
was one of the opponents of Ayatollah Kazemeini Boroujerdi since he was often preaching
to the religious youth and crowds of people collected in Ershad institute and trying
to lead the society toward the direction which several years later led to the
rule of clerics.
Actually,
Mr. Seyed Mohammad Ali’s movement was failed to progress due to enmity of
Authoritarian clerics especially following their success in revolution of 1979.
So the “Academy of Light” was closed and after more than 50 years of scientific
campaign against the religious autocracy, he was quarantined in house.
So the
invented Imam could attain the supreme power and the highest
political position of Iran, the ancient center of Monotheism. He and his
advocators succeeded to deceive the Iranian people by using evil plots and
dishonest cheatings after they had got ideological assistance from philosophers
and sophists and great support from some international powers and also by
exploiting many intellectual and educated people who were actually unaware
about the evil goals and plans of clerics for their future. They promised a
utopia that the human beings were looking for during the entire history of
humanity.
1979 Revolution in Iran and its Consequences
At the
threshold of 1979 revolution in Iran, some of clerics had abused their social
and religious position and after receiving secret assistance from some global
powers along with collaboration of philosophy-based groups, they took advantage
to discredit the monarchy as an irreligious organization between the people to
attain their evil goals. As these clerics were acting like a wolf in sheep's
clothing, they could seduce the unaware people to gather in the streets
protesting and destroying everything; meanwhile the universities were closed
and the economy as well as the industry were completely frozen due to
continuous strikes of employees. Finally, due to evil plots of the enemies of
Iran, the Islamic State was established in this ancient land of Monotheism.
However,
this satanic regime with mixing the religion and politics, had no result other
than poverty, corruption, degeneration, conflicts and war with the neighbor
countries, displacement and massacre of the Iranian nation and promotion of
Godlessness. So due to their mismanagement and failing to run the country, the
Iranian people have become miserable and the citizens have been continuously
suffered from slow death due to increasing the economic and political
pressures.
A cleric
man named Ayatollah Khomeini had been introduced as the leader of the
revolution and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic State of Iran with highest
religious position so called Vali-e-Faqih which means the Islamic jurist
ruler. The autocratic regime began quickly to suppress the dissidents and
opposition parties. Due to global ignorance about the repression of the Iranian
people and tyrannies of the Islamic regime, the rulers could stabilize their
government, so they passed through the geographical borders and started to
interfere in internal affairs of the neighbor countries for exporting their
extremism ideology. Furthermore, in order to revive the Islamic Caliphate of
Shiite sect, the regime claimed that its leader is actually the global leader of
all Muslims. Their slogan for each destructive action, was “The end justifies
the means”, and after each destruction, the only explanation by the regime’s
leaders was “we are missioned to do our task but not to concern about the
consequences!”
They
utilized the natural and human resources of Iran for their evil ambitions, so
as a result, the Middle East became a land of religious violence, terrorism and
massacre of innocent people.
Martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Ali Kazemeini Boroujerdi
Ayatollah
Seyed Mohammad Ali Kazemeini Boroujerdi was quarantined in house and forced to
keep silent after the revolution, since he had refused to cooperate with the
new established Islamic state in Iran. He was actually among a group of grand
Islamic Scientists such as Ayatollah Seyed Abolghsem Kuei that opposed to
mixing of religion and politics. Actually, Mr. Seyed Mohammad Ali was threatened
and been under high pressures from governmental clerics during first years
after revolution. Even for instance, the Islamist groups who were controlling
the Media, had published a fake statement with his name in Newspapers in
support of the Islamic revolution. These threats were serious to the extent
that for example Ayatollah Seyed Abolhassan Shamsabadi, who was representing
Ayatollah Khuei in Isfahan and opposing the establishment of religious state,
was murdered by followers of Ayatollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic
regime two years before revolution.
Mr. Seyed Mohammad Ali who were often warning about the
consequences of invented Imam, was one of the victims of this satanic project
and several times assassinated by the regime’s agents. In one case, one of the governmental
clerics named Sheikh Hossein Ansarian poisoned him, so he was hospitalized and
treated for long time. In another assassination attack, one of the members of the
revolutionary mobilization group so called Basij, tried to murder him in south
of Tehran, but this attack was failed.
While quarantined in house, he was trying to collect and
publish his memoirs and some documents showing how the religious state was
established based on satanic goals and how the Authoritarian clerics had
plotted to destroy the country. He informed his relatives and close friends that
he was already informed how Mr. Khomeini, the founder of the regime had plotted
against the country and Iranian citizens several decades ago. He had witnessed
that the grand Shiite leaders such as Ayatollah Seyed Hossein Tabatabaei
Boroujerdi, Ayatollah Abdolnabi Najafi Araghi and Ayatollah Seyed Sareddin Sadr
were concerned about Mr. Khomeini’s heresies and corruptions while he was a
young cleric in city of Qom. Since the Iranian nation were being suppressed
under religious dictatorship with the name of God, Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Ali
Kazemeini Boroujerdi actually wished to reveal the real face of the ruling
Mullahs and lead the people again towards the Lord.
Unfortunately, his collected documents to disclose the
realities about the ruling clerics were monitored by the intelligence service
of the regime and they plotted to kill him as soon as possible. So they found
this opportunity while he was hospitalized due to a heart disease on 18 August
2002 in Mada’en hospital in south of Tehran. He was assassinated and passed
away after severe bleeding.
After his martyrdom, his family decided to bury him
secretly in the corner of Noor Mosque based on his will since the regime was trying to prevent
his burial ceremony to be held with huge population. After his burial, the
security agents of the regime stormed the Noor Mosque and his house to search
and confiscate his documents and publications. They continued these attacks
several times later and finally on 30 July 2006, they looted his house and all
of his belongings even the antique books and documents inherited from his
ancestors.
The enmity of ruling Mullahs was to the extent that they
even exhumed his grave and burned his dead corpse and arrested his family
members in 2006.
